Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– I’m legitimately surprised that Marvel’s relationship with Netflix would allow this, but here we are: Hulu and Marvel are teaming up to bring a life-action adaptation of “Runaways,” the Brian K. Vaughan/Adrian Alphona book that, for a few years, was the most talked about potential Marvel adaptation. The talk eventually cooled, and now here we are. In addition to the Netflix shows and this new Hulu series, Marvel has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, and Cloak and Dagger in development at ABC Family Freeform. I can’t believe how much superhero TV we’re getting, you guys.
– Next year, after 144 issues, “Invincible” is ending its run. The Robert Kirkman/Ryan Ottley series (co-created and originally drawn by Cory Walker) has been going on for well over a decade, and has been overshadowed by Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead” for just about as long. Aside from its Image label mate “The Savage Dragon,” “Invincible” represents one of the longest running independent superhero series in comics. Fare thee well, “Invincible.”
– Oh, hey, a Spider-Man: Homecoming poster!
– Apparently, Jared Leto feels ‘tricked’ by the producers of Suicide Squad, as he was pitched a different movie than the one he wound up in. Did they promise him a good one? Hi-yo!
– ’60s Dynamic Duo Adam West and Burt Ward – along with one of the three 60’s Catwoman (Julie Newmar) – are all reuniting for a new Batman animated film. I think this is an idea about 25 years overdue – plus, then, you could’ve had Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, and Frank Gorshin all a part of it, too.
– Alison Pill – alumna of Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and one of my secret crushes (shhhhh) is in a new film called Zoom – no, its not a Flash film – but it is a movie about a comic book artist. Watch the trailer here.
– And, finally, the fact that two days of this draft have gone by without Black Adam, the Reverse Flash, or Vandal Savage is absurd. Absurd!
