– It is official: along with Jay Garrick, The Flash will be bringing us Wally West this season as well. Keiynan Lonsdale, from the Divergent films, will be playing Iris West’s nephew and the future Kid Flash. Because the character is going to be African American, like he is in the New 52, the only image that is available for the press to use of West in action is the terrible ‘Futures End’ metal costume you see on your left. Let’s hope that the production designers aren’t influenced by Brett Booth.

– The first descriptions of Doctor Strange have begun to leak out from the production staff. Cinematographer Ben Davis has called it ‘Marvel’s Fantasia,’ which hopefully means that it has extended musical sequences set to Stravinsky music.

– Disneyland has purchased nearly 15 acres connected to their ‘California Adventure’ park, and the rumor is that it will host attractions from both the Star Wars and Marvel properties. This would be a major boon to the theme park, as a Star Wars/Marvel park would be a huge attraction.

– It looks like, if Deadpool is a hit, and if Tim Miller comes back to direct the sequel, Cable will be the villain of the film. There are a lot of ifs there, but middle school Brian would love this.

– Robert Knepper, of Prison Break fame, has been cast on iZombie as Blaine’s father.

– Folks who just can’t get enough of John Wesley Shipp, rejoice! The CW Seed, the online home of the syndicated network, is now streaming the 1990 version of The Flash online! Watch Mark Hamill chew so much scenery that, by the end of the episode, they are just on a blank soundstage!

– And, finally, this one goes out to all our “Shonen Jump” readers on staff and in our audience!
