Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– In case you didn’t already hear the news: DC’s ‘Rebirth’ has been doing gangbusters for the publisher. They claim to have shipped 12 million physical issues of the various books under the ‘Rebirth’ heading this summer. While those aren’t quite “X-Men” #1 numbers, they are mighty impressive. Mighty.
– DC also rewarded some of their ‘Rebirth’ creators with new exclusive deals, inking Robson Rocha (“Green Lanterns”) and Otto Schmidt (“Green Arrow”) to exclusive contracts. Congrats, gents!
– Marvel has added a fourth artist to “MU,” a project that keeps getting teased with, seemingly, a new artist to pair with Cullen Bunn each day. Rumor has it that it is either a Wolverine or Fantastic Four comic, with art by Leinil Yu, Steve McNiven, Greg Land, and Adam Kubert. Look for the final reveal tomorrow evening.
– Kyle Starks has a new Kickstarter for his project “Kill Them All.” Kyle is a good dude and a great creator – keep your eyes on Multiversity this month for something special from Kyle.
– The rumors were true: Hannibal Buress is playing a gym teacher in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
– And, finally, get ready for some Lian Harper jokes: Prometheus is officially coming to Arrow.
