Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Over at Entertainment Weekly, producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg discuss some potential X-Men spin-off films, and mention Mystique as one of the potential contenders. Jennifer Lawrence’s star power would probably help that film immensely, so hopefully that is the version they want to spin off. Sorry, Rebecca Romijn!
– “Batgirl” #30 maybe, sort of, kind of spoiled “Forever Evil” #7. To be fair, it totally might not have too but, still, this is why DC hates late comics – if “Forever Evil” came out on time, this wouldn’t have been an issue. This is the kind of slippery slope that leads to disaster, kids.
– New writers on “The Flash,” Van Jensen and Robert Venditti talk their upcoming run in general, and dodge a lot of Wally West questions. They do say that he is a major part of their run, which is good to hear.
– Our pal and Hour Cosmic denier Joshua Williamson is writing a new “Robocop” ongoing from Boom!, with art by Carlos Magno. Congrats, Josh!
– Paolo Rivera has done a beautiful piece of art for this week’s upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
– Ariel Olivetti is leaving “One-Hit Wonder,” a book he co-created, and is being replaced by Stephen Thompson.
– And finally, Kate Mara doesn’t know if there will be a Fantastic Four suit in the new Fantastic Four movie. It hasn’t started filming yet, and already people are getting on Mara for her lack of knowledge about the flick. Give her a break! If she doesn’t know 6 months from now, then we’re in trouble.
