Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– This just got a lot more real: CBR has confirmed that Fantastic Four comics are planned to be going on some sort of hiatus. Whether that’s for the nefarious reasons that Bleeding Cool has indicated to be behind it or not is uncertain, but that’s a pretty damn dark direction for Marvel to move down.
– Why did Anna Paquin’s performance as Rogue almost entirely get cut from “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, and what exactly were the scenes going to be? Find out at AV Club, although beware the spoilers. Also, some good news comes from that: it sounds like the deleted scenes may eventually make it onto the Blu Ray edition of the film.
– As we continue to be excited by “massive” sales of Spider-Man relaunches, Japan continues to laugh as things like “One Piece” sells 310 million copies. THREE HUNDRED AND TEN MILLION. Having visited Japan before, I know that manga is accepted on a level that American comics almost never will be, but that is an astounding number.
– Clayton Cowles joins CBR for their Sunday Conversation, and the results are a really fun read, brought to you by the letter Q.
– Happy trails to Comics Alliance Senior Editor Caleb Goellner, who moved on from his post after five years to pursue a career in making comics and a new job at Wacom. Good luck in the new gig and the comic making, Caleb!
