Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

Oh wait, we’re getting that in eight different episodes starting in January! Oh happy day!
– After its first and second printings, Scott Snyder and Jock’s “Wytches” #1 has surpassed 90,000 copies ordered in total, which – by my calculation – is a whole hell of a lot. That’s “The Walking Dead” numbers on a great month, and speaks to the power of Image, Snyder and Jock. Our hearty congratulations go out to everyone involved, as this is a really nice step in the right direction. Good comics getting big orders? NUTS! That’s nuts!
– This James Sturm comic over at the Nib called “The Sponsor” is frankly spectacular and should be read by everyone, especially by aspiring creators.
– Time wrote a piece on Marvel’s gamble of releasing a “Captain Marvel” movie, and with insight from Kelly Sue DeConnick and Stephen Wacker, it’s – GASP – an actually pretty great piece written about comics from a very notable publication. Well done!
– The old Batman television series starring Adam West and Burt Ward is getting a restoration, and there’s a video released by Warner Bros. that shows the old version and the restoration side-by-side and good lord, it is amazing. If you’re a fan of that series, you might have an investment coming soon.
– These shots of the Lucca Comics & Games event in Italy are unbelievable and make San Diego Comic Con look like a third rate flea market on its best day. Yowza.
