– After some speculation, it has been confirmed by Latino Review that Agent Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, will appear in some form or another in Ant-Man. LR’s source is a casting notice looking for a Carter stand in, so presumably she could just appear in long shots/in the background, but that seems a little silly. Ant-Man keeps shaping up to be a surprising film, with one foot in the past and one in the present.

– Even after starting a mild controversy the last time this happened, Bleeding Cool has posted a ten-page preview for the new “Gotham by Midnight” series, from writer Ray Fawkes and artist Ben Templesmith, that was sent to retailers to encourage their customers to check out the book. The pages have a heavy watermark, but are quite readable. This should get folks even more excited for the book, which launches later this month, from DC.

– Chadwick Boseman has been “amazed” by the fan reaction to his casting as T’Challa in the upcoming Black Panther film. It is great to see both an actor and a community so clearly behind a project.

– We have all been getting a little burned out by Marvel’s summer 2015 teases (X-Men ’92 notwithstanding), so Newsarama looks at 10 Marvel events that they’d be absolutely shocked to see Marvel tease. Truth be told: if they got Liefeld to revisit “Heroes Reborn,” I’d be first in line.

The Atlantic has a great article about Wolverine, his death, and the future of Marvel, with or without Logan.

– DC has released a video showing off various Bat-looks from the past 75 years. Although we all have favorites and least favorites of the batch, few costumes have remained as consistent in appearance as the Batsuit.

– And, finally, did Jamal Igle literally dream up DC’s new mega event “Convergence” a year ago?
