Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

As he told AP, “Right now it’s not something I’m pursuing because I have so much going on in “Avengers” 2. Finding out that Coulson is alive would be an entire B story. And I already have too much movie.” Of course, he did say that is in current state, so it remains to be seen if that stays true. Either way, we believe in Whedon, even if we do greatly enjoy Coulson!
– Rumor alert! Apparently there are pervasive rumors that JJ Abrams is on the verge of walking off his role as director to the new Star Wars film, but LucasFilm reps categorically deny this idea. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if this rumor was true – after all, Abrams is clearly someone who believes in the legacy the preceded him, so if they wanted him to do something he wasn’t happy with he’d walk – but I have to imagine it would take A LOT for Abrams to leave. We’ll see though. I find it hard to believe he’d actually walk away.
– Coming in 10 days is a new webcomic from the team of writer Josh Fialkov and artist Joe Infurnari, titled “The Bunker.” We have literally no idea what it is about, but Fialkov working on a completely, all his own comic? Sounds like magic, you know?
– Yesterday on Twitter, Dave Johnson – famed cover artist of many books, but namely 100 Bullets – shared his five interconnected covers to the 100 Bullets Omnibi. If I didn’t already own the whole series, these amazing covers might convince me to buy the whole series. Amazing stuff.
– Can I interest anyone in Olivier Coipel drawing Psylocke from last weekend’s San Diego Comic Con? I sure hope so. This nearly 27 minute video finds us with a view of a master working, and it is totally freaking awesome.
