Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Alan Moore, at length, defends himself/answers some criticism tossed at him on topics such as racial insensitivity and sexual violence in his works, and why Grant Morrison is like herpes. Long, but well worth a read.

– Newsarama has rounded up a few photos from X-Men: Days of Future Past, and hey! That’s Quicksilver! Also, for MC’er Brandon Burpee, a nice shot of Bishop.

– Speaking of Marvel films, here is the first look at Ben Kingsley in the “All Hail the King” short coming on the Thor: The Dark World Blu-Ray.

– Rich Douek has a great piece on his experience pitching to Image, Image Expo, and the “pity party” he had today.

– We covered this a bit last year, but it appears that Kenneth Rocafort is doing another year in his “Mitografia” series. Today’s sketch is particularly awesome. Check out the 8 preceding images, and check back every day for his sketch of the day.

– Check out The Simpsons paying tribute to the great Hayao Miyazaki, director of Spirited Away, among others.

– Want an extra long trailer for next week’s Arrow? Of course you do!

– And, finally, if you enjoyed “Batman: The Deal,” you might dig “God’s End” from the same creators. Personally, their take on Superman seems to be almost the Anti-Superman story, but it is still looks pretty.
