Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Devon Aoki has been cast as Katana in the third season of the CW’s “Arrow”, and she’ll be set to play one of Ollie Queen’s (Stephen Amell) mentors in the Hong Kong flashbacks. I can dig it.
– Laura Hudson talks with Ed Brubaker about the first arc of his Image Comics title “Velvet” with artist Steve Epting, and the utter awesomeness of series lead Velvet Templeton.
– CBR covers David Finch’s response to the outrage when he avoided the term feminist to describe his version of Wonder Woman in his book with his wife Meredith. Your scheduled tarring and feathering of the Finch family can be paused for the time being.
– Oh hey there, Bryan Singer confirms via Instagram that the Four Horsemen will be showing up in “X-Men: Apocalypse”, which we could have guessed but still, thumbs up fo sho.
– “Hannibal” and “Pushing Daisies” showrunner Bryan Fuller will be teaming up with “Heroes” alum Michael Green to adapt Neil Gaiman’s “American Gods” for Starz, and with such great source material and creative types involved, how could it not be a success?
– Brandon Graham posted a Moebius written list his “8house” collaborator Xurxo g Penalta translated from Spanish that shares the legendary artist’s of 18 tips for comic artists. If you’re an artist, it’s well worth a read.
– Joe Keatinge talks about the pains of continuity, and how in his perspective (and in the perspectives of many others) creators, readers and publishers shouldn’t be so beholden to the concept. This all stems from a hilarious and pretty dumb question from someone to Cullen Bunn on Tumblr, and is worth a read.
– In the New York City area tonight? There’s an event going on at 6:30 with Amy Reeder, Sean Murphy and Klaus Janson speaking, and that sounds like a pretty rad thing indeed.
