Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Because of the untitled Batman/Superman film being delayed 9 months, Marvel Studios has acted, and moved Ant-Man two weeks earlier, setting a July 17, 2015 release date. Two weeks sooner to being utterly confused as to why Michael Douglas is playing Hank Pym!
– If Sif didn’t excite you, maybe Deathlok will? Everyone’s favorite cybernetic soldier will, on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., be none other than Michael Peterson, the character from the pilot who was imbued with powers from Centipede. At least they are doing something with J. August Richards, who everyone can agree is pretty awesome.
– You may be reading this early in the morning, so you may not be looking to have your mind blown so early in the day. However, if you are, check out this Mike and Laura Allred double page spread from “Silver Surfer” #1 that Dan Slot tweeted out.
– The Avatar solicits came out yesterday, and of note was the new Garth Ennis series, “Caliban,” drawn by Facundo Percio. Ennis is one of those writers that engenders a lot of intense fan praise, so if you listen carefully, you can hear a whole mess of people getting really excited over this announcement.
– There is a really interesting, though short, piece on Comic Book Resources about Michael Keaton’s experience playing Batman. For nostalgia addicts like me, this is manna from heaven.
– Dynamite announced a couple of interesting projects today: first, a Shadow one-shot entitled “The Shadow Over Innsmouth” by Ron Marz and Matthew Dow Smith, and a new miniseries, “Battlestar Galactic: Six” by J.T. Krul and Igor Vitorino set in the same universe as the 00’s Battlestar Galactica series.
– And finally, Stephen Amell has cleared up his comments regarding playing Green Arrow in a Justice League movie.
