Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– The MCU giveth, the MCU taketh away. It appears that Robert Downey Jr will be reprising his role as Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is good news. The bad news? It appears that Michael Keaton will not be appearing in the film after all. I don’t know what we have to do to get Keaton in more/all films, but let’s get on that.
– Remember Krypton, the David S. Goyer Superman prequel that was being pitched awhile back? Apparently it is being ordered to pilot at Syfy, surprisingly literally everyone. Here’s hoping that even longer gestating Booster Gold show will finally arrive.
– What do Brian K. Vaughan, Michael Chabon, and the little brother from Freaks and Geeks have in common? All three are part of the new braintrust handling the Hasbro cinematic universe, featuring properties like G.I. Joe, ROM, Micronauts, and M.A.S.K. Yeah, this is 2016.
– Five of the ten titles that Oni will be publishing that came from their open submissions have been announced along with some preview art. Congratulations to all the creators!
– And, finally, if you need something to take your mind off of the untimely passing of Prince, think about Ray Liotta in the Batman suit doing his signature “HA HA HA” laugh, and everything will feel a little better.
