Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Solicitations aside (and we’ll get to those with Soliciting Multiversity), there was’t a whole lot of comic news thanks to E3. But the stories revolving around the Big Two’s upcoming films seems pretty significant. Heroic Hollywood is reporting some details about Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller’s cameos as The Flash and Aquaman in Dawn of Justice. Click that link if you want to be pretty underwhelmed. I don’t want to spoil anything but it’s exactly what you would expect.
– Oh thank god(s). Screencrush is reporting that the American Gods, the series based on Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed novel, has been greenly by Starz. There’s been some difficulties in getting the script off the ground, but with Hannibal‘s Bryan Fuller on board, expect each line of dialogue to be artistically mumbled.
– Captain America: Civil War is currently embroiled in a game of he-said he-said. Robert Downey Jr. said Mark Ruffalo would be in the film while Ruff Rider himself just told HitFix this is the first he’s heard of his casting in the film. He’s confident that Downey’s backing will get him into the film, or at least into The Judge 2.
– DC Comics is inviting retailers to celebrate September 26th as Batman Day as if that wasn’t every fucking day for comic shop owners.
