Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– After having the bulk of the first month illustrated by Jason Fabok, DC has revealed the details of “Batman: Eternal” in May. Andy Clarke, Trevor McCarthy, Emanuel Simeoni and Guillem March all take an issue this month, which focus on Stephanie Brown, Red Robin, Etrigan, and “new players.”
– Multiversity favorite Tom Scioli has released a preview of his “Transformers Vs. G.I. Joe” Free Comic Book Day issue. Is it May yet?
– The ever-quotable Sean Gordon Murphy, at least partially inspired by a piece on Multiversity (written by my partner in Rundown crime, David Harper), wrote a really fascinating journal entry on his deviantART page about how to avoid having your role diminished as an artist. A must read.
– Dark Horse publisher Mike Richardson has committed to bringing more creator-owned work to Dark Horse this year.
– This new “Batman: The Animated Series” toy line looks awesome, but $24.95 a toy? That’s crazy talk.
– Rob Liefeld did a cover for “Magnus: Robot Fighter,” and it may be my favorite Liefeld piece in a long time.
– Somewhat lost in the conversation about John Romita, Jr. coming to DC was the announcement of who his inker will be: Klaus Janson, who will be doing his first DC work in over a decade.
– And, finally, check out this Pokemon rap! Enjoy your weekend, folks!
