Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Congrats to the great Andrea Sorrentino. The Italian artist has signed an exclusive contract with Marvel. Well deserved.
– Viola Davis has confirmed that she will play Amanda Waller in “Suicide Squad”, officially revealing the worst casting secret since Vin Diesel as Groot in “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
– Jim Zub developed a new version of his look at the economics of creator-owned comics, and as per usual with Zub’s write-ups, it’s well worth a read.
– There’s an “Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies” book coming from James Robinson and Steve Pugh, and while the idea sounds stupid and it’s frankly insane that it is an ongoing series, at least it’s a good team. But ongoing? What the hell?
– It sounds like “Batman: Arkham Knight” is getting naughty, as it is the first game of the series to earn an M rating, with the rest of the series getting T ratings.
– Ben Hardy of the BBC’s “EastEnders” has been cast as an unknown character in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse”. Here’s hoping they stop casting people, as we already have a pretty full cast that could use less people, not more.
