Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Ben Affleck, the controversial new Batman, talks to 411Mania about his expectations and hopes for the movie and character. I liked the fact that he said he didn’t want to say too much because he wanted to maintain the surprise for audiences. That’s a good way to approach it for this spoiler obsessed society. The fact that he was reluctant to take the role? Also very interesting, and shows how tough a decision it likely was.

– Ryan Reynolds insists that someday, someday, a Deadpool movie will be made. He also talks about how they intend to do it a minimal budget sort of way, and that they intend to ensure that it is rated R. That all sounds good. Somewhere, Rob Liefeld is nodding and petting a hairless cat.

– Rick Remender shared a page from his upcoming book with Wes Craig and Lee Loughridge, Deadly Class. Have we mentioned we’re excited for this book?

– Bleeding Cool has a trailer for the live action version of Kiki’s Delivery Service and…what the fuck? They’re making a live action version of Kiki’s Delivery Service?! HUH?! So weird. Original ideas are dead, but I suppose at least they are adapting a Hayao Miyazaki movie.

– Robot 6 talks to Andrew MacLean about his Kickstarter for his comics project “Head Lopper.” MacLean is a hell of a talent and this is well worth supporting. Take a look!
