Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com. Also, spoilers for Ant-Man, specifically on the second rundown item.

– Variety is reporting that Benicio Del Toro has been offered a role in Star Wars: Episode VIII. Hopefully he will be cast as The Collector so he can prove Patton Oswalt’s filibuster from Parks & Recreation.
– One of the most talked about moments from Ant-Man was the post-credits scene where Hope Van Dyne received The Wasp outfit and took up her mother’s role. Even though it would have been neat for her to get the outfit halfway through the movie and, you know, do something with it. Anyway, we’re not going to see The Wasp onscreen for a while, as Kevin Feige SlashFilm that she will not be involved with Captain America: Civil War. That said, she will definitely show up at some point in Phase Three. Probably in Infinity War. See you in 2019, Ms. Van Dyne!
– According to TVLine, Michael Chiklis has been cast in Gotham as a mentor towards the young Jim Gordon who will definitely not betray him at some point.
– Dan DiDio told Newsarama how the DC multiverse works after “Convergence” and I’m honestly not even going to touch that. So long as we keep getting books like “Prez”, I don’t care whether “Deathstroke” is in the same continuity as that comic where Green Arrow cheated on Black Canary in a dumpster.
– Some guy who acts on Game of Thrones showed up for work and that broke the internet(?)
