Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Stan Lee calls a spade a spade as he reacts to David Goyer’s rather insane and off base comments about She-Hulk. I know they’re fictional characters, but for a screenwriter to completely misread a character so much is mind boggling. That said, he did write “Man of Steel”, so it shouldn’t be that surprising.
– Kieron Gillen teaches us all how to pre-order comics in a few easy steps, and recommends you do so for his new book with Jamie McKelvie, “The Wicked + The Divine.” Having read the comic, I can guarantee you’ll want to buy this book. It’s truly incredible, and really feels like the evolution of their work to date.
– A website called Badazz Mofo responds to a piece at Bleeding Cool about the dearth of black creators at Marvel and DC, and I have nothing but love for what he has to say on the piece. David Walker, the guy who runs the site, comments on the lazy journalism surrounding some of the obsession on diversity lately, insisting that there are plenty of black creators, they just aren’t necessarily where we’re looking for them (citing the Eisner nominated Watson & Holmes for one). His assertion isn’t that racism is absent from comics, but the approach is wrong for those who pursue it. It’s a good piece and deserves a read.
– “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” reveals an array of character centric posters. Namely, ones for actors Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who are playing Dwight, Gail, Marv and Jonny respectively.
– In case you were wondering, Matt Murdock does in fact have “Saga” on his pull list. He’s a blind man of refined taste.
