Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Now, I know it’s hard to say something is dumb when its concept is based around “teenaged mutant ninja turtles”, but if this shot of the TMNT toys is to be believed, they are going to be really, really dumb looking.
– This interview The Beat did with Eric Stephenson is not so good, generally, as it seems way more invested in asking questions about controversy than about what Image is actually up to, and the comments section is an utter nightmare, but as per usual Eric offers some insightful and uncut points in response. Worth a read, even if it is a bit rough.
– 13th Dimension has an interview with Stephen Amell of “Arrow” fame, and if all of the love for this show keeps going like this, I might have to watch the damn thing.
– DC has a new, fun teaser for their Dark line that tells readers to “Abandon All Hope…” Not going to lie, I love it when they do those. More please.
– Comic Book Resources has a piece where they share how Empire’s revealed images make them alternately worry and hope for the quality of “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, and it really feels a little fanboyish for them, but whatevs, get your DoFP jones on there.
– Ryan Browne illustrates the story of George Brett and his pinetar incident and…well, it’s pretty much like I remember it. And it’s pretty amazing because it’s Ryan Browne.
– ESPN has a big story about the whole Wardrobe Malfunction/Nipplegate deal with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake from the Super Bowl years back. Why is that of interest to you? Nathan Fox drawing Janet Jackson clutching her bare bosom! Heyooo!!!
