Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Congratulations to Mark Millar and Sean Gordon Murphy, who had their brand new Image book “Chrononauts” optioned for a film by Universal Pictures. The book, less than a week old, will have its adaptation produced by Chris Morgan (the Fast and the Furious series), and will be executive produced by Millar and Murphy.
– Marvel is trying something really interesting – “A Force Presents” is a new monthly, magazine-style anthology, dedicated to reprinting six previously issued female-led comics, such as “Ms. Marvel,” “Thor,” “Black Widow,” and more. The anthology will be sold in both bookstores and in comic shops, and seems like a nice way to try to bring in new readers.
– Cullen Bunn and Drew Moss are launching a new horror book over at Oni, “Blood Fued,” launched as part of their ‘March Madness’ initiative. This comes off the announcement that, come May, Oni will be taking open submissions. Get your pitches in, folks!
– Listen up, shell heads – the sequel to Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is shooting both in Manhattan and Buffalo, NY come April
– And, finally, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, thinks that Black Adam could, one day, join the Justice League on screen. While that’s not complete lunacy, based on the characterization over the past 20 or so years, it seems unlikely. Sorry, Rocky.
