Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– One of the biggest news stories coming out of this year’s San Diego Comic Con was the first full trailer for Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice and it’s been pretty controversial (in that I hate it). Though, one scene that has everyone talking was the one showing a trenchcoat and goggles wearing Batman facing off against an army of people dressed in black with the Superman logo on bands around their arms. Even I have no idea what’s going on in that scene, but photography Clay Enos shared a close-up shot of Affleck in his desert camo Batman gear.
– This October, Marvel is travelling back to 2013 with “What If?: Infinity”. The series will take place across five different one-shots, all written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by a different artist with such names as Riley Rossmo and Jason Copland attached.
– Joss Whedon talked to CBR about the comic he announced at Comic Con over the weekend, which sounds like he played The Order: 1886 and wanted to mash it together with Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
– Toby Kebbel talked to superherohype.com about his role in the upcoming Fantastic Four film as Victor Von Doom, revealing some interesting tidbits about Doom’s origins that likely won’t get a focus in the film like his mother’s Romani origins.
– It looks like the first episode of the new season of Arrow is getting a very telling title. After Stephen Amell’s on-stage introduction of the new costume at Comic Con, he name-dropped two very important words and the episode will be titled just that: Green Arrow.
– Check out the full length trailer for Heroes Reborn, the revival of the NBC show coming soon. As some who loved the original incarnation no matter how terrible it got, that trailer hit me all up in my nostalgia and has me actually excited to vist that world again.
– And, finally, the Washington Post has a write-up on Rep. John Lewis at Comic Con that is fascinating and I am not talented enough to cover something like that. Give it a read.
