Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Over at CBR we have our first official look at the new costume Grant Gustin will be sporting in the second season of The Flash. Things don’t seem to have been modified too much save for the white background to the lightning bolt chest symbol, something I’ve wanted since I first saw the costume. Just when we thought The Flash couldn’t get any better.
– In The Hollywood Reporter‘s rundown of the Arrow panel at this year’s SDCC, the question of whether we could see Green Lantern show up in the CW universe came up. Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim says it seems unlikely, but not to rule anything out.
– It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a… Lane? TVLine have reported that Lucy Lane, younger sister of Lois Lane, will be appearing in CBS’ Supergirl series. With the amount of Superman supporting characters showing up in National City, it’s a wonder there’s anyone left in Metropolis.
– With Ant-Man done and dusted, the Marvel Studios hype train has its sights set firmly on Captain America: Civil War. In an interview with Badtaste.it (translated by SuperHeroHype), Martin Freeman talked a little about what to expect from his mysterious role in the film. Well worth checking out.
– In a time where everything from Heroes to The X-Files is getting a revival, it should be almost no surprise that the same thing might be happening with Xena: Warrior Princess. The full story is over at The Hollywood Reporter and is definitely an interesting read.
– While an animated adaptation of “Batman: The Killing Joke” isn’t exactly high on the list of things I want to see, the possibility of Mark Hamill return to the character (again) for the film is something that could sway. Make it happen, Warner Bros.
– Finally, Matt Singer over at ComicsAlliance wrote a piece on Ant-Man and the women of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s an interesting read, but only if you’ve seen the film as it does contain major spoilers.
