– Mark Pedowitz, president of the CW, says that there are “discussions” about another show spinning off of Arrow and The Flash:
“What you’ll see embedded in ‘Flash’ and ‘Arrow’ is that we’ll have the ability to test characters out,” Pedowitz told AdWeek. “Is there room to grow them into the next show? I cannot tell you yet. There are discussions going on.”
We already know of Ray Palmer and Ronnie Raymond being parts of the shows – could one of them be headed for a show in the 2015/16 season? Time will tell!
– According to Axel Alonso, Milo Manara’s Marvel variants that were cancelled were done so because of scheduling, not the recent controversy over his work. Shame on you for making assumptions, you silly goose you!
– The upcoming “Harley Quinn” Annual #1 is going to be scratch and sniff because, well, why not? What is unexpected is that one of the scents will be cannabis. Huh.
– Judd Winick’s return to monthly comics for the first time since 2012, “A Town Called Dragon” for Legendary and illustrated by Geoff Shaw, is out this week, and CBR has an interesting chat with him about the new series.
– Got $400 to kill? Well, maybe you want to spend them on the new Hot Toys Han Solo and Chewbacca. Or, you could just buy the Chewie for your old pal, Brian. My Green Lantern Funko Pop, talking Ben Franklin doll, and Keith Hernandez bobble heads need company on my desk!
– Hot Toys too rich for your blood? Maybe you’d prefer to drop $125 on hand-painted Walking Dead Chuck Taylor knock-offs?
– And finally, watch Thomas and Martha Wayne die over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again!
