Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– First up today, it seems like season two of Marvel’s Daredevil has already started filming. The pictures taken on location in East Harlem don’t show much other than the fact that, obviously, Charlie Cox and Elden Henson are returning as Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. However, I think it’s very interesting that Netflix and Marvel Studios have fast tracked this season so quickly because of the positive response to the first season. But those are thoughts for another time. I’m just waiting patiently for our first look at Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.
– You know who you get to write a James Bond comic? You get Warren Ellis to write a James Bond comic. Goddamn, that’s a good get.
– This is interesting: looks like we won’t be seeing a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Comic Con this year. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t camp outside of Hall H for the panel as Lucasfilm does promise a behind-the-scenes look at the film with a trailer looking likely for this Autumn as the film’s release date of December 18 closes in.
– It looks like Marvel’s Doctor Strange film could have it’s female lead as there’s talk that Rachel McAdams is in talks to star in the film. I would probably put money on her playing Clea, Strange’s apprentice, but the idea of Morgana Blessing has also been floated around.
– Know what happens when you love a video game? If you’re Greg Rucka, it turns out you get to write the tie-in comic as he will be writing “Dragon Age: Magekiller”, an original story set in Bioware’s world of Thedas. Rucka will be teaming with Carmen Carnero for the series that is being published by Dark Horse Comics and is scheduled for release on December 16.
– Not sure where to find your favourite Marvel character post-“Secret Wars”? CBR has a full rundown of where to catch Marvel’s biggest heroes this Fall. However, what’s most interesting to me is the number of big name absences like Black Widow, Robbie Reyes or any of the characters with an upcoming Netflix show who don’t dress up like a devil. Hopefully these characters’ absences will be addressed at Comic Con.
