Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– As Dark Horse nears the end of its Star Wars license (2 days and counting), they are giving us all an incredible chance to pick up all 28,000+ pages of comics for $300. Yes, you read that right – $300 bucks to get you 20 years of Star Wars comics.

– Newsarama has a really great interview with Karl Kerschl about the process behind “Gotham Academy” and its hybrid penciled/painted pages.

– Over at CBR, Kelly Thompson poses an interesting question: what exactly makes a superhero a superhero?

– Comic creators and publishers are known to send holiday cards featuring some of their creations around this time of year – Newsarama rounds up some of the best ones.

– The soon to be relaunched “Powers” gets a variant cover featuring the stars of the new Playstation Network-produced television series.

– We often get caught in the myopic world of US comics, and it is fascinating to peak outside of that world now and then – Bleeding Cool has a quick article about the Italian comic sensation “Tex Willer” – and how its publisher commissions 12 writers and 49 artists to work on the book at one time.

– And, finally, a 1988 Wonder Con interview with Stan Lee has popped up, and it is fascinating to hear him, essentially, predict the rise of Marvel’s live action branch…25 years too early.
