Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Where do we even begin with this? David S. Goyer, screenwriter for Man of Steel, Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, and the Blade trilogy, had some less than enlightened things to say about She-Hulk, basically saying that she was created as a character the Hulk could have sex with, and compared her to a porn star. Goyer is ignoring the fact that She-Hulk is Bruce Banner’s cousin, and that them being romantically linked would be super creepy. He also spewed some anti-Martian Manhunter business which, while not as offensive, still shows why he’s the wrong guy to be penning most of DC’s films.
– Mark Waid reveals the juicy secret behind his “Hulk” departure: he wanted to get more ahead on “Daredevil” and his Thrillbent work.
– Want to donate to a good cause, and potentially be an extra in Star Wars: Episode VII? Well, you’re in luck!
– Two of our favorite writers, Frank Barbiere and Fred Van Lente, are both writing Dynamite series that released new issues today. They also interviewed each other for Bleeding Cool, which is as charming as you’d hope from these two gentlemen.
– “V-Wars,” an IDW series written by Jonathan Maberry, is being developed for television, with a pilot script written by Smallville veteran Tim Schlattmann.
– James Stokoe’s “Wonton Soup” is getting reissued in a 6×9 format in a few weeks, and Comics Alliance has a sweet 30 page preview up, pulling 15 pages from each of the two original volumes. The book will also be available digitally for the first time.
– Another day, another look at Big Hero 6.
– Dan Abnett’s digital first “Infinite Crisis” series is basically a video-game continuity version of “The Multiversity.”
– And, finally, Charles Soule has 11 books coming out in August. ELEVEN! That is crazy.
