– What a fine day DC had yesterday. First, Mark Millar does his level best to bring his own version of the kiss of death to their Justice League film project by calling it “an excellent way of losing $200 million” and systematically taking every character down a peg.

THEN, AV Club ran an article (via Badass Digest) that shares opinions of various sources around the industry who state that Will Beall’s script for the Justice League movie is nothing short of “terrible” and the whole enterprise is verging on its own death.

The good news is, all of the negative buzz for Justice League has distracted everyone from DC wiping out six more titles (Hawkman, Deathstroke, Firestorm, Sword of Sorcery, Ravagers and Team 7) while also shifting a couple writers around (peace out Andrew Kreisberg! Hello Sterling Gates! Hope you like emo androids Justin Jordan!). I’m sure there will be fresh reinforcements right around the corner that will be mediocre and left unpurchased!

– Lakeshore Entertainment, the group who made the “Underworld” films, is going to bring The Luna Brothers’ comic “The Sword” to the big screen. It’s a pretty cool little book with a fun little idea behind it, and I could easily see it being an even better movie than it was a comic. That said, “Underworld.” And I don’t mean the sweet British electronic outfit.

– Over at Comics Alliance, they have a fantastic art post of Pixar animator Austin Madison bringing hyper literal (and badass) versions of 2012’s NFL match ups to life. It’s pretty hilarious, if only to see what he envisions when the Broncos and Falcons square off.

– This is only tangentially related, but man, I did not think Beyonce looked great during the Super Bowl halftime show, and it appears the Internet agreed with the meme that has taken off since her publicists tried to get some…less than favorable pictures of her taken down. Of note? One of her as She Hulk. Amazing.

– Finally, a cat dressed as Breaking Bad’s Walter White.
