Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.
– With Arrow continuing to truck along and The Flash blowing all other superhero TV shows out of the water, all eyes were on the upcoming team-up event series Legends Of Tomorrow to see how CW could handle bringing together supporting characters from both shows in a major time-jumping new series. Well, from the looks of this new trailer, it seems like they’re going to pull it off spectacularly well. I mean, who would have guessed we’d see Vandal Savage in live action? I sure as hell didn’t.
– Sticking with #DCTV, CW has ordered six new episodes of iZombie, bringing the show’s second season up to 19 episodes compared to the first season’s 13 episodes.
– Want to see how the Joker’s (in my opinion garish and out of character) car from the upcoming Suicide Squad film was made? Well, now you can courtesy of Fox News, apparently.
– We already knew that Chelsea Cain was writing Marvel’s upcoming “Mockingbird” ongoing, but a recent interview with her on marvel.com has revealed that Kate Niemczyk will be the series’ artist.
– Over at CBR you can check out a bunch of Ant-Man deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Sadly, they come with commentary, but they’re still worth checking out if you enjoyed the film.
– Finally, check out this sweet ass new still of Captain Phasma from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
