– You know mattered yesterday? Nothing. Nothing except this first trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil Season Two that gave us our first real look at Jon Bernthal as The Punisher because holy shit that looks intense. I cannot wait for this show to come back and bask in the glory of Bernthal’s Punisher.
– I mean… okay, so maybe there was a couple other things that mattered yesterday like the announcement that Star Wars: Episode VIII has officially begun principal photography. Also included in the announcement was the inclusion of Laura Dern, Benicio Del Toro and Kelly Marie Tran in the film’s cast. Only two more years to go, guys.
– Remember that teaser for DC’s “Rebirth”? Well according to Jim Lee and Geoff Johns on Twitter, “Rebirth” isn’t a reboot… and it never was. Because even DC is aware that they reboot way too much at this point. Whatever “Rebirth” is, we’ll find out sooner or later, but rest assured that it’s probably still going to be a reboot of some kind.
– According to HitFix, it looks like Warner Bros are a little worried about the reaction to Batman V. Superman and how fans react to it may determine the fate of DC’s current slate of films. Suddenly, this has become a high stakes film release and I’m way more interested.
– After almost a year long delay, Archie Comics’ horror comics will return this summer. Good news for those still waiting on those.
– Finally, here’s six minutes worth of TellTale Games’ The Walking Dead: Michonne miniseries.
