Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez’s “Federal Bureau of Physics” aka “FBP” formerly known as “Collider” is getting adapted to be a film by writer Justin Marks and producer David Goyer. I have no opinion on Marks (his first credit is a Street Fighter movie, though), but can a damn DC/Vertigo adaptation happen without Goyer?! Come on, now! Either way, congrats to Oliver and Rodriguez. It’s a great book that should make a very interesting movie that I can’t even hope to visualize. But neat!

– In case you’ve ever wondered whether or not Oni Press is awesome, here’s confirmation: Oni Press is awesome. This time it’s because ULine, their office supply vendor, is being let go because of their CEO’s stance on the Marriage Equality Bill, and his funding of groups that stand against it. Regardless of your stance on it, you have to give Oni a ton of credit for standing up for what they find right (even if it means they’ll have to pay more for staplers). Bravo.

– Steve Lieber wrote a blog on how artists should prepare and act at comic conventions, and you should read it if you’re a creator of any variety, and much of it is even salient for the average con goer. Read it! Steve Lieber is a smart man!

– Film School Rejects has a piece about “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, and it’s a very interesting one amidst the deluge of pieces about the movie. It compares it to “Man of Steel”, and talks about how Marvel Studios has managed to transcend the superhero film genre while DC is trying to get their films off the ground. It’s well worth a read.

– Disney Infinity fans! Good news! Marvel’s heroes are headed to the game and its world as playable characters, so if you’re into that game and comics, you are probably pretty pumped right now.

– Apparently Deadpool #27 with 220 characters on the cover sets the actual honest-to-goodness Guinness World Record for most characters on a comic cover. If any book would set that record, I am not surprised in the least it is a comic celebrating Deadpool’s wedding.
