Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– To paraphrase Tom Waits, what are they building in there? There, of course, being New Mexico, and they, of course, are the crew behind Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Newsarama speculates that it could be anything from Khandaq to Themyscira to Nanda Parbat. Personally, I think it is just a larger I.H.O.P. for Superman to throw people through. We’ll see who is correct in 2016.
– Mark Millar is teasing a 10 issue project that will be surprising and feature “huge superheroes.” Other clues include the fact that he has worked with this artist before, that he has written two of these characters in the past, and that it ties into a “special” series he had worked on in the past. Many people are predicting a return to the “Superman: Red Son” universe, and Rich at Bleeding Cool seems to think it is “Justice Forever,” a team spinning out of “Kick-Ass 2.”
– Newsarama is also placing odds on the likelihood of various Lanterns taking up the ring for Justice League, with Jessica Cruz being in the lead. While seeing Cruz in the film wouldn’t be a huge shock, it seems logical to me that the inevitable Green Lantern film should be more of a Corps film than a solo joint, for a number of reasons.
– Marvel has released the un-restricted cover to “Wolverines” #1, and if you haven’t seen just how Logan bites the dust, you probably shouldn’t click this link. They also released the connecting Skottie Young variant covers for the upcoming first issues of the first Mavel Star Wars minis.
– Rich Johnston has it on good authority that Chip Kidd will be handling covers for the DC “band aid” event. That certainly is an appealing idea, and leads some hope to the event not being a total clustercuss.
– Warwick Davis has confirmed that he will be in Star Wars: Episode VII. And, just like that, all is right with the world.
– Dennis Culver is selling this amazing Breaking Bad poster – pre-order it now, ya goof!
– And finally, you’re welcome: here is sheet music to replicate Jeff Goldblum’s laugh in Jurassic Park. I know you’ve always wanted this.
