– It is amazing what a haircut can do – the first image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor has emerged and, well I’ll be, he looks like Lex Luthor. Zach Synder, director of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, also had this to say about the film’s Lex:
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
– Yesterday was a very big day of friend of the site Joshua Hale Fialkov: Legendary Comics announced that Fialkov will be writing “Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift,” a miniseries sequel to the Guillermo del Toro film, illustrated by Marcos Marz. In addition, Oni announced a tenth anniversary hardcover of “Elk’s Run,” Fialkov’s Harvey-nominated OGN, illustrated by Noel Tuazon. Congrats, Josh!
– Lana Condor, in her first major film role, will be playing Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse. That is quite the debut – good luck, Ms. Condor!
– DC has launched an interactive “Convergence” guide, where you can click around the initial debut image, looking at the various past worlds shown.
– Naja (who?) has joined the “Uncanny Inhumans.”
– “Spider-Island” is returning for “Secret Wars.”
– And, finally, R.I.P. Lou Silverstone, a legendary writer for “Mad” Magazine.
