– At Comic Con this year, Stephen Amell dropped a bomb with the reveal that in the fourth season of Arrow, Starling City will be changed to Star City, matching the city that the Green Arrow of the comics operates in. Well, we’ve gotten our first look at that change as Paul “Best Character In The Show” Blackthorne posted a picture of his new Star City Metro Police badge. What do you think? Can Arrow really turn things around with this attempt to bring more elements of the comics in?

– Speaking of TV shows based on DC Comics, TVLine have reported that Gotham will be bringing the villain Firefly into its second season. In the comics, Firefly is usually the guise of pyromaniac Garfield Lynns, but it seems that won’t be the case in the show as Firefly will be a woman played Michelle Veintimilla. Kind of swings in roundabouts, huh?

– Over on the Marvel side of things, kind of, Hugh Jackman talked a lot about the next Wolverine film after taking questions from fans on twitter. Apparently there was a lot of call to bring back Sabretooth and even as someone who hates the X-Men films, I can say I’d go see a film that was just old ass Wolverine fighting Sabretooth. Jackman also mentioned Wolverine’s berserker rage and I have literally no idea how’ll they convey that on film.

– It was revealed this weekend at the D23 Expo that the newest addition to the Kingdom Hearts crossover would be Big Hero 6. Well, CBR has a look at the concept art that was shown on stage and it looks amazing. And I’m totally justified in mentioning this because the film was kinda sorta based on the Marvel comics “Big Hero 6”.

– BOOM! Studios has shown off two new covers for “Klaus”, the Santa origin story by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora, over at Bleeding Cool. This book sounds ridiculous and I am already in love with it.

– Yesterday, DC shared their solicitations for November including such big name titles as “DKIII: The Master Race”, “Superman: Alien American” and, hopefully, the eventual release of “Batman: Europa”. Check it out and be on the look out in the coming week for solicitations from the other big name publishers.

– Finally, in some fun news, we can now watch the footage shown off at D23 of the Iron Man Experience ride coming to Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride will be a 3D motion simulator attraction and based off of the footage we see here, I think it’ll be a lot of fun. Then again, I’m a sucker for these kinds of rides. The Spider-Man ride at Islands Of Adventure in Universal Studios Orlando is just the best.

Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
