Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– I would tell you specifics as to why you need to follow Jim Steranko on Twitter, but it’s a living legend of comics telling hilarious and weird as hell stories all of the time, 140 characters at a time. Check him out, because it is too awesome for words. Plus, his profile picture is like…the best thing ever.

– Some people questioned Chris Pratt’s selection for Peter Quill in “Guardians of the Galaxy” because he hardly has the physique of a heroic lead. Well, you know. Instagram.

– Rick Remender has previews of his two new Image Comics series over at his site. Both Deadly Class and Black Science look pretty damn tremendous, and these previews really settle that.

– Have you always wanted a shirt with Alan Moore flipping people off on it? Well, I have really good news for you.

– Even though they have way more readers than we do, Newsarama is sort of a monolith that no one I know reads. The one thing I know people still read was Blog@ Newsarama, a blog by Graeme McMillan, a comic journo who has been around for a while and has managed to develop quite a little niche for himself. Now, having moved onto The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, Blog@ dies, and with it the one last thing I sort of read. Alas. RIP Blog@.
