Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Mitlos Yerolemou, aka Syrio Forel on Game of Thrones has reportedly joined Star Wars: Episode VII in a yet-to-be-announced role. I don’t watch Game of Thrones, but it seems like the internet is pretty pleased with this casting.
– Spinoff Online puts together the pieces of the recent rumors involving a potential return to the Blade franchise. While the previous Blade films range from great (Blade II) to horrendous (Blade Trinity), I think Marvel could use Snipes effectively to bridge the gap between those first Marvel studios films and the current crop.
– Stan Goldberg, a legendary artist for Archie comics, as well as one of the originators of the original Marvel color schemes for characters like Spider-Man, passed away over the weekend.
– So, Stan Lee might have just blown the announcement that Marvel Studios is actively working on a Black Panther film. It could also just be the ramblings of an old man – we’ll see.
– Congratulations, Mr. Gunn and co: Guardians of the Galaxy is now the highest grossing film of 2014.
– Ray Fawkes, at Fan Expo, maybe sort of hinted at Cassandra Cain being on the way in the Bat-books. Or maybe he was just playing coy – we’ll see.
– Marguerite Bennett will be joining Chris Claremont as co-writer of “Nightcrawler” #7.
– A number of Six Flags theme parks, though sadly not Six Flags Great Adventure in the Garden State, will be getting a bunch of new DC-themed rides.
– Marvel is refusing to answer whether or not the creators behind “Star Wars Legends” will be seeing royalties from the new Marvel reprints of the Dark Horse series. This could be quite troubling.
– Ever get sick of all the heroics in Marvel movies harshing your Loki buzz? Well, check out this all-Loki supercut of his Marvel appearances.
– And, finally, Al Pacino might sort of hate Hollywood now, but he really dug Guardians.
