Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

One of DC’s strengths at the moment is their television division, and it is about to get another feather in its cap: “Gotham,” the Batman before Batman series set in Bruce’s childhood years, got a full series order from Fox. This is great news for fans of Donal Logue and comics alike!
Sam Humphries, late of Marvel’s “X-Force” books, has gone exclusive to the publisher. Congratulations, Sam!
In a bit of non-news, executive producer of the AMC adaptation of “Preacher,” Seth Rogen, says that the series will deviate from the source material. This may mean our collective dreams of Arseface will fall to the wayside!
If you don’t want to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but want to see the post-credits sequence, you can do so here.
In case you missed the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s Free Comic Book day special, check out the Chris Roberson/Dennis Culver one-pager from it right here.
Rolling Stone has listed its “Top 50 Non-Superhero Graphic Novels” today and, while it is a list full of great work, someone really needs to explain to the greater world what a graphic novel is and isn’t.
“Fantastic Four” #5 is getting a variant cover by former series writer Jonathan Hickman, himself no slouch when it comes to designing a cover. #5 also features guest art from Mike Allred, Dean Haspiel, Jerry Ordway, and more. I, for one, cannot wait.
And finally, ever wonder what Gerard Way thinks of Twitter? Wonder no more!
