– These new efforts Image is using to help encourage retailers to order more of their books are pretty damn fantastic, and I love the new displays they’ll be filling for free if the retailer will display them. If I were a retailer, I’d be going nuts over these new deals, but, you know. That’s me.
– Image Expo tickets go “on sale” at noon PDT tomorrow, and they’re free on a first come, first serve basis. If that’s something you’re into – and you should be if you’re going to SDCC – make sure to get on that.
– The Beat is running a Patreon campaign, looking to get support for running the site. Take a look and maybe throw a few shekels Heidi’s way if you’re interested!
– Guardians of the Galaxy is getting a mobile game called “The Ultimate Weapon”, and Dan Abnett is writing it, which is totally rad.
– Marvel’s exclusives for San Diego Comic Con will include another Rocket Raccoon plush, and while it’s adorable, it’s not quite NYCC adorable.
