Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

To me, I hope this isn’t true. God forbid an actor say he wish he had a bigger role in a billion plus dollar movie. Jeremy Renner is both an excellent actor and someone who is a perfect fit for the character. If Marvel is looking to recast him, it’s a rather short sighted decision that I would find to be one of their worst ones as well.
– Chris Arrant over at Robot 6 has a look at DC’s (excellent) digital only output, and whether or not they’re not generating much fanfare simply because comic journalists aren’t talking about them or because DC really isn’t promoting them. It’s an interesting piece and a good question – I for one am a huge fan of the free Marvel Infinite Comics for Guardians of the Galaxy, yet no one talks about them – that people should think about. Either way, check out Marvel and DC’s digital output. Well worth a read.
– Want to see what crazy looks like? Bleeding Cool has an article up about the band Jupiter’s Child and their vendetta against Mark Millar and Frank Quitely when it comes to Jupiter’s Legacy (formerly Jupiter’s Children), and hoo boy, is that band crazy as shit.
– Excited for Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy’s The Wake? Snyder tweeted a tease of the book that basically amounted to a look at Murphy’s art, and you’ll want to look at it if only because it’s Murphy’s art. Have we mentioned he’s good at art before? Because he is.
– I have no idea whatsoever what Scribblenauts is, but apparently you can now play as up to 2,000 different DC characters in the game. Which is neat. Can someone tell me what that game is? Maybe I should just download it.
