– For those who have been eagerly anticipating the return of this book, Jonathan Hickman tweeted an image of his script for S.H.I.E.L.D. #6, titled “Finally, Motherfucker…Finally.” Both hilarious and well-received. Nice move, Hickman.

– The Rock and DC Comics are doing something together. What exactly that is, I’m not sure, as he didn’t hint to that really, but here’s hoping for Black Adam. I mean come on, he basically looks exactly like the guy. I have no idea where he’d play Black Adam, but I’m in for it if that’s who he’ll play. That said, he’ll probably be Doomsday in the “Man of Steel” sequel, because that movie is woefully lacking in actors/characters.

– Did Shia LeBeouf hire skywriters for an apology to Daniel Clowes? So it seems. Who he plagiarized the message and stole the idea from is uncertain, but man, he just needs to quit this crap.

– When Sean Murphy writes something on his DeviantArt blog, you should always read it. This time, Murphy writes about “5 Comic Book Truths (that I don’t think are true)”, and he shares insights into his perspective on readers, the industry and more. Well worth a read, as per usual.

– A complete collection of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning’s Guardians of the Galaxy (well, volume one of it at least) is coming in August. If you’ve never read that or have and just love it, this will be well worth a purchase.

– Speaking of upcoming omnibi, there’s a “Big Damn Sin City” omnibus coming out collecting all of the series into one freaking massive 1,344 page tome. As someone who owns a Dark Horse omnibus for Conan, I can speak to how crazy huge these things are. If you dropped it on someones head from a short distance, it’d be game over man. Game over. Anyways, if you’re looking to read this, this is a great way to do that.

Matt Digges webcomic Sequential Life is back.

– Finally, Comics Alliance is hungover.
