Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– AMC’s “The Walking Dead” spin-off has an apparent location now, as the show apparently will be taking place (at least initially) in Los Angeles. The main story takes place in and around Atlanta, so I guess we’ll see what’s going on the left coast during those trying times.
– This side-by-side comparison of the original “Star Wars” Marvel comic colors and what Marvel did in the recoloring is…not a good look for the new coloring. Yeesh. Some of it looks sort of better, I guess, but it’s so over the top. Dial it back, Marvel. Dial it back.
– Nate Simpson talks about why “Nonplayer” #2 is so late, and it’s well worth a read. Whatever the story is, I’m excited to read the comic. The first issue was one of my favorite single issues of the past few years, and I really can’t wait to read it.
– Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: a major website writes a piece lamenting the state of Hollywood as franchises, sequels and comic book movies take over the film world. This time it’s Mark Harris at Grantland, a writer whose work I really like, and it ends up being an interesting read even if I don’t entirely agree with it.
– Looking for some awesome art for a comic fan you know for Christmas? Well Jake Wyatt is selling some sweet, sweet stuff on his Etsy page, and I recommend checking it out, especially that excellent Chrono Jigga print.
