– Jada Pinkett Smith is set to play Fish Mooney in “Gotham”. I bet you’re wondering, “who the hell is Fish Mooney?” Well, Fish Mooney is The Penguin’s boss, and the unrepentant badass who runs the Gotham underworld. According to the WB press release, she’s “a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner, Fish Mooney’s got the street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book.” I could see that, and Smith sounds like a good fit for the role.

– This open letter from Denver Comic Con co-founder Charlie La Greca is deeply concerning, and shows a young con that is already crumbling under pressures to make money rather than to live by its original mission statement. I’m curious what else comes from this, but Denver Comic Con seems like it’s something that should go away if all of this is true.

– This is hot now, because of the Guardians trailer, but you should really donate to Bill Mantlo for the ongoing care of him in his current, tragic state, and not just because you like a movie trailer. He’s someone who has had quite the legacy in comics and he is in a tough place. If you can, do what you can to donate.

Check out this page of art from “American Vampire” Scott Snyder shared. This is some sweet, sweet Rafael Albuquerque and Dave McCaig action, I say.

– Speaking of sharing things on Twitter, Declan Shalvey shared the two different covers to Moon Knight #3, and as he said, if you don’t like the suit and tie look for MK, you probably won’t like this. Myself? I think it’s totally awesome.
