Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– In what seems to be a smart, but totally necessary move, Marvel and Jason Aaron have extended Aaron’s exclusive Marvel contract. Both sides obviously benefit from this, but it seems like Marvel truly needed to lock up one of their few remaining star writers.
– It appears that Marvel Studios would like Peyton Reed to return for Ant-Man and the Wasp. Reed took over a troubled production and seemed to bring a calming hand – and a real cinematic vision – to Ant-Man.
– David Goyer decided today was the day to call Constantine “a mistake.” Granted, he was saying that the real mistake was the pairing of NBC and the supernatural show, but still, I don’t think the screenwriter of Man of Steel get to be too smug about any mistakes.
– This is an awesome revelation of just how big the Arrowverse is, in terms of DC cities.
– And, finally, Love Songs of the DC Universe.
