Before Skullkickers. Jim Zub is hilarious. That is all.

– Speaking of Jim Zubkavich, the Skullkickers team of Zub, Edwin Huang and Dave McCaig are going to be doing five page back-ups in the July issues of Valiant comics called “Who Will Lead the H.A.R.D. Corps.” These issues will, shockingly, search for the new leader of H.A.R.D. Corps, and they are meant to be funny, which means the Skullkickers team is a great fit.

– Rob Liefeld brings Brigade to Kickstarter, and it is already pretty certain to hits goal. The idea is any contribution gets a copy of the first issue for free which, in itself, actually makes this a pretty good deal as far as Kickstarters are concerned. Check out some of the higher options though – the $10,000 option gets you all 22 original pages of the first issue plus one of the covers. While I don’t think that’s a good deal, it is an amusing one.

– Besides the misspelling of Mark Mothersbaugh, these reimaginations of famed, depressing musicians as DC superheroes are pretty fanastic.
