– After announcing plans to revive the company last year at San Diego Comic Con, little has been announced in regards to how Milestone Media will be returning to the spotlight. The publisher, dormant for a number of years, announced a new deal with DC Comics to bring the characters back into their own, dedicated line of comics. Jim Lee, Christopher Priest, and others spoke today about the plans for Milestone, and assured everyone that the plans are still happening, but are just happening at a slower pace than hoped for.

– In addition to debuting footage from both Luke Cage and Iron Fist, we got the official word, as well as an animated teaser, announcing that The Defenders would indeed be released next year. It appears, at least for now, that the Punisher will not be a part of the series, but instead focus on Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil. Oh, and Daredevil is officially getting a third season.

– The first footage of Justice League Action got screened on Thursday, and it looks like a really fun synthesis of Justice League United and a more fun, goofy take on the characters. I’m excited to see how it develops this fall.

– Google is introducing “bubble zoom,” an automatic zooming in of the text bubbles, for all comics purchased in the Google Play Books app. This, of course, begs the question: who buys their comics from the Google Play Books app?

– Be still, my heart: a Jack Kirby “Fantastic Four” Artist Edition.

– Wonder Woman is getting her own set of postage stamps in celebration of her 75th anniversary. Especially stoked to see Cliff Chiang’s work represented.

Voltron: Legendary Defender is getting a second season on Netflix. People tell me it is awesome; is it?

– And, finally, John Barrowman is the best.
