Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Over at CBR, the news broke that two of Marvel and Disney’s animated shows are being renewed for next year under slightly different titles. What was once Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s Avengers Assemble (not to be confused by the fact that first Avengers film was titled that in the UK) will be returning in 2016 as Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. The Sinister 6, which is quite the mouthful, and Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution, respectively. I don’t watch these shows so I can’t speak to their quality, but I can only imagine this will be a mite confusing.
– So, I stopped watching Agents Of SHIELD around the episode where Agent Dale Cooper drove around the country in an RV with Joey Tribbiani’s sister and a couple of hippies. That being said, apparently some guy called Luke Mitchell played one of the Inhumans in the show, but I didn’t see any of his episodes and it turns out Entertainment Weekly have reported that he’s been upgrade to season regular for season three. Good for him, I guess? I’m still not going back to the show.
– In news that should be awesome, but won’t be: Dwayne Johnson is in talks to star in a remake of John Carpenter’s Big Trouble In Little China because Hollywood can’t just let a good old film be good and old without tarnishing its reputation with a shitty remake. I’m looking at you, Poltergeist.
– A lot of people hated the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film from last year. I just thought it was inoffensively bad. Still, ComicsAlliance has some photos that show the first look at Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop and white-balance ruining, WWE Superstar Seamus as Rocksteady. I think they look pretty good, actually. Who knows, maybe they can improve with the sequel?
– In news that I think is simply amazing: after an appearance on Monday Night RAW, it seems like Stephen Amell might feud with Stardust at this year’s Summerslam. If I can live in a world where Amell wrestles in hopefully Arrow or Casey Jones themed ring attire, I will finally be happy.
– You know what’s cool? A three page preview of “Phonogram: The Immaterial Girl is cool.
– Remember that production art from Justice League: Mortal we linked to on yesterday’s Rundown? Well, today we have storyboards from the film by Steve Skroce which seems to confirm that the film’s Superman would have sported the chest symbol designed by Alex Ross for “Kingdom Come”. I am suddenly so very sad this film never got made…
