Bleeding Cool is reporting that the upcoming Justice League movie, potentially starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Josh “Sawyer” Holloway, could film as soon as directly after Batman/Superman. This would potentially put the film’s release as summer 2016, which would be considerably faster than many anticipated. Whether or not this is true, it is good to see DC thinking big with their cinematic plans.

– In more DC adaptation news, Constantine has been given a pilot order by NBC. David S. Goyer and The Mentalist producer Daniel Cerone are heading up the production.

– In even more DC adaptation news, the once rumored to be Bruce Wayne-less Gotham series seems to adding more and more Bat-characters every chance they get. The Penguin, Catwoman, and the Riddler are all being considered, according to Fox chairman Kevin Reilly.

– One of the great digital comics out there, “Edison Rex,” is about to release its second print collection. Artist Dennis Culver has made a great order-form, styled off a classic “Wanted” poster. Print ’em out, bring ’em to your local shop, and check out the book via ComiXology.

– Regardless of whether or not you’ve ever read a Little Nemo comic, this “Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream” compilation sounds pretty amazing: Sam Kieth, Paul Pope, Mike Allred, JG Jones and more. Good God, y’all.

– As a young lad, I always wanted to see the Roger Corman-produced Fantastic Four film I saw in Wizard. Fast forward twenty years later, and there is a documentary, Doomed!, coming out about the film. The trailer looks pretty great.

– And finally, Brandon Graham is working on a whole mess of comics nowadays. He talks to Bleeding Cool about all of them, but of most interest to me is the “Prophet: Who’s Who” two-issue series coming after “Prophet” proper and before “Prophet: Earth War.”
