Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Over at IGN, the first trailer for the upcoming Lego direct to video film, “Justice League Vs. Bizarro League,” which is set to debut next year. Adding to that excitement is the fact that Guy Gardner is one of the main characters in the film and that Dietrich Bader, who voiced him on Batman: The Brave and the Bold is reprising his role.
– For all of the guff that’s tossed at “Aquaman,” DC has done a nice job of building up his supporting cast. One such character is Kahina – a relatively minor character in the Aquaman canon, but an important one in the New 52, as she was quickly killed by Black Manta. Well, if set photos are to be believed, Kahina might have a role in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This all but confirms an Aquaman appearance, one would suppose.
– Rich Johnston seems to believe that multiple books by Marjorie Liu are to be announced at January’s Image Expo.
– Newsarama does a really nice job running down the “new generation of allies” that have been popping up in the Bat corner of DC. When looking at the list, it is pretty staggering to consider just how many new faces are currently populating Gotham these days.
– Fresh off of its sell-out status, “Godkiller” is set to become an animated trilogy, starting next year.
– If Charles Soule is to be believed, “Wolverines” is leading up to the “next big thing” at Marvel, or at least in the Wolverine books (which, honestly, seems pretty obvious – this is not the end of Wolverine as a comics property).
– Many of us at Multiversity are big fans of the Evil Dead series of films (and, to a lesser extent, the comics that spun out of those books), so we are super excited about Ash Vs Evil Dead, a Bruce Campbell-starring, Sam Raimi-produced ten episode miniseries set to air on Starz next year. Groovy!
– And, finally, for fans of a certain age, Andrew Garfield isn’t Spider-Man, and neither is Tobey Maguire, it is Nicholas Hammond. For those that know who the hell that is, the Dissolve has a piece about the first time a live action Spider-Man graced our screens. I rented VHS copies of those Spidey adventures countless times as a lad.
