Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– While it is a bummer that Jason Aaron’s run on “Amazing X-Men” will only be 6 issues (as Kathryn Immonen is filling in for #7), it is pretty great that Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost are the new writers for the book. Equally great is the news that Colossus will be joining the team, too!
– In case you can’t tell, we love Hellboy. For all of you cool kids who also love Hellboy, Dark Horse is doing a series of signings all over the world on Hellboy Day (Saturday March 22nd) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mike Mignola’s most famous creation. If you’re local to any of these shops, go check it out!
– According to David Goyer, NBC’s Constantine show would be closer in tone and style to the comics that the character was created in than the 2005 Keanu Reeves-led film. This seems like an obvious direction, but I’m sure there is at least one person bummed out about this news: Keanu Reeves.
– Allison Baker has reached out to a number of editors about what to do and not do at conventions when it comes to pitching/networking. It is a must read for all who dream about being a professional comics creator, as well as for all who like to see the machinations of how the industry works.
– He-Man has been in court lately – writer Donald Glut, who wrote the original minicomics that accompanied the Masters of the Universe toys, lost a lawsuit filed by Mattel involving the rights to the characters. He claimed that they were of his own creation, but the court agreed with Mattel that it was work for hire and, therefore, had no rights to the characters.
– Comic Book Resources has a great interview with Jae Lee up as part of their series “The Lightbox.” Lee talks about process, his changing tastes, and why he was itching to get back to drawing superheroes.
– And finally – of course this now exists.
