– “Titans”, a Teen Titans live-action series, is nearing a pilot order from TNT and screenwriters Akiva Goldsman (“A Beautiful Mind”) and Marc Haimes. It’s centered around Dick Grayson as Nightwing, Starfire, Raven and more, and I hope beyond hopes that it’s just like the animated “Teen Titans” series because that shit is bonkers. TEEN TITANS!

– In case you were worried, Alex Kurtzman has promised that his “Venom” film will be a darker take on the Spider-Man film world, which naturally fits the character and his sort of perversion of the Spider-Man idea. Plus, darkness is so hot right now.

Hansel.

– It’s finally coming: James McAvoy will apparently be going bald as Professor X in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse”, or at least he probably will.

– As revealed in yesterday’s “Avengers Undercover” #10, artist Tigh Walker and colorist Jean-Francois Beaulieu will be teaming up for a new teen hero book featuring that hero “grappling with darkness.” Whatever exactly that entails.

– This Alex Ross variant cover to Kurt Busiek and Ben Dewey’s “Tooth & Claw” #2 is a god damn masterpiece.

– Karl Kerschl’s Hello Kitty comic is utterly spectacular.
