Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– In the worst news ever in the history of comics, Gabriel Rodriguez shared on Twitter yesterday (followed up by Joe Hill as well) that the fifth issue of Locke & Key: Omega, previously thought of as 5 of 7, will be the last issue of Omega. Now, I’ll say this: when I first read the news I was upset because that is simply one of the best comics of the past decade. Then, I read a response from Joe Hill in which he said without saying that it’s the end of Omega, but not the end of L&K. Whew!
– As we know (or at least I seem to remember), there is a Lying Cat t-shirt coming from the rather successful and beloved comic “Saga.” Now, as Robot 6 noted, it has made its TV debut as Felicia Day wore one on “Supernatural.” Nothing more than that. Just file that under cool.
– Do you like Studio Ghibli? Do you like monster movies? If yes to both, then we have the link to you! Studio Ghibli worked on their first live action short ever, as “Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo” is blowing minds over at io9. I hope I don’t need to to tell you that you need to go watch it, but go watch it.
– Finally, a restaurant in Brooklyn has a number of Game of Thrones specials right now, including a pizza called the Cheddard Stark. So awesome, but dammit. I need to stop writing now because even typing about that made me hungry.
